Fishing Consistent on Lake Minnetonka with Warming Temps
Latest Report from Set the Hook Guide Service on Lake Minnetonka

The fishing on Lake Minnetonka has been good, we are catching lots of Northern pike & Largemouth Bass.
The pike are coming mostly on crankbaits being trolling in 14-16' of water on the weed edges. We are also getting a few casting spinnerbaits are them, as well. Often color doesn't matter as pike will hit most anything that flashes in front at the right time of year.
We are catching most of our bass in 6-10' weed lines. We've been getting most action on plastics and spinnerbaits. Always tough to beat a thump on a jig.
We didn't fish for walleye or panfish this week. But I'm seeing schools of panfish out in 14' of water while trolling. So they're definitely around.
It's a great time to get the kids out fishing, especially with the nice weather. If you'd like to get out on Lake Minnetonka with us, give me a shout!
